Mizoram
Mizoram is the northern most state of India is a beautiful state with its dramatic landscape and It’s a mesmerising state with the blending of hills and lakes. Though no remarkable peaks of the Himalayan ranges can be seen from this place, the mountainous weather soothes your senses.
This is the Land of Blue Mountain. Aizwal is the capital and the main city of the state and it is Durtlang Hill is one of the beautiful hills and one of the popular tourist places here. Another interesting place is Baktawng Villege which is a traditional and old mizo village. The most interesting fact of the village is this is the abode of “world’s largest excising family”. How to reach Mizoram?
- By Road: : National highway-54 connects the state with shilchar. The distance between Gauhati and Mizoram is 506 km and the distance from Shilchar is 450 km.
- By Railway: Mizoram does not have any railway track. The nearest rail track is in Assam. If you select railway them you have to go by road from Assam.
- By Air: Mizoram has an airport on Aizwal. A number of domestic airlines are available here from every corner of India. You can opt any of them.
